The Ryan Erik Adamsons Medium Ensemble is a 13-piece modern jazz ensemble based in Chicago.  The group was formed in January of 2008 and performed weekly at McDunna's in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood for 9 months until we began disturbing the softball team.  Since then the ensemble has performed at various festivals and venues and now performs the second Monday of every month from 10pm to 1am at the Gallery Cabaret (2020 N. Oakley Ave., Chicago).  The book consists of original arrangements and compositions in virtually any style.  The regular personnel for the band are:
